Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“AdventLink”). By creating an account or using AdventLink you agree to them, to the Privacy Policy and to the Community Guidelines.

Who can use AdventLink

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you’re 13–17, you confirm a parent or guardian is okay with you using AdventLink. Teen accounts have extra protections that can’t be turned off.
• You must give accurate information, including your birthday, and keep your sign-in details safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.

Church, conference and organization accounts

• Only claim or create an account for a church, conference or organization you’re authorized to represent. We may confirm your role with your conference before the account goes live, and we may decline or remove an account.
• Owners can invite delegates (admins and editors). Owners are responsible for what their delegates do on the account.
• If someone disputes who owns an account, AdventLink decides after reviewing both sides.

Events and meetups

• Events and meetups are organized by the people and churches who post them, not by AdventLink. We don’t check venues, supervise gatherings, or guarantee that an event happens as described.
• Use good judgment when meeting people: meet in public places, tell someone where you’re going, and parents should know about events teens attend.
• Hosts must describe their events honestly, respect spot limits and private-event approvals, and cancel in the app if plans change.
• AdventLink doesn’t process payments in this version. If a host charges for something, that’s between you and the host.

Your content

You own what you post. You give AdventLink permission to host, display and share it inside the service as needed to run it (for example, showing your event to people near you). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already been sent it (like messages) or we must keep it for safety or legal reasons.

Only post content you have the right to share.

Community rules

Follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts that break them or these terms, especially to protect teens and others from harm. If you think we got it wrong, contact support.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It’s hidden immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. Owners of a church, conference or organization account must transfer or delete it first.

AdventLink’s part

• We work to keep AdventLink running and safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
• To the extent the law allows, AdventLink isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for what happens at events or between users. Our total liability is limited to $100.
• We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll ask you to review them in the app.

Disputes
